Awesome antique pure flax napkin set, hand-embroidered, perfectly preserved.

The set is made of 10 napkins, big size, their antique fabric is fully decorated with small lace-, hemstitch, and whip stitch applications. The main design was made in blanket stitch and padded stitch with former owner’s initials (SP).

Origin – Center Italy – and fabric testify the ability of this item’s maker, highlighted by the insert made with bobbin lace inlay patterns, still playing an important part in the craft tradition of that area.

Suggestion of use:

The ideal gift (for someone special… or just for yourself) for a festive table set; can be used as small décor tablecloths as well.
