Amazing dance card holder from the early 1900, made of velvet with an awesome inner side in leather and silk.

ts brass frame has an elegant decoration with letterpress; the velvet has elegant art nouveau flower-embroideries in burgundy red threads. Tone-on-tone burgundy inner silk, with leather slots intended for dance cards.

Some slight time marks do not undermine the overall grace of this exquisite vintage object.

Cheerful and extremely chic, ideal for a special gift to a romantic vintage enthusiast, it’s of course very appreciated also as a historical relic.

State of conservation:
Second-hand but very well preserved. Some subtle streaks in the velvet on the top due to usage and aging. Embroidery, leather and silk are intact, instead.
