Three pairs of English cotton ladies’ stockings, intact – never used, still tied up.

Hand-seamed white cotton stockings, three thread cotton, embroidered with owner’s initials in red on the edge. Probably part of a bridal kit, they’re still tied-up and packed and they’ve never been used. By tradition of the time, the pairs have toe- and heel-patches in pure 4 thread cotton.

To confirm stockings are authentic made in England, you can see the crown mark impressed on the cotton, evidence of excellence, both of the fabric used and of the production.

A real masterpiece for every Victorian style enthusiast.

State of conservation:
Never used and intact. Some slight age patina, but they can be polished on demand. Sold in pairs. Price refers to the pair.
