A special antique bed cloth, entirely handmade, with inlay decorations on a contrast toned silk overlap. The cloth was made following the Italian typical style of the time, using a mixed embroidery technique and different materials. The flowery design on the linen cloth is hand-painted – you may still see the first draft pencil signs that have been amended later on. Flowers are carefully carved and refined with a delicate pulled thread embroidery, standing out on the contrasting background. The cloth comes in cyclamen pink, it’s made of taffeta silk. It unleashes the beauty and the joyfulness of the Neapolitan style of the end of the XIX century.
