The finest silky moire fabric, yellow colored, really antique but still intact.

Silk was delicately weaved, and its watered appearance and it’s ever-changing color shade is created by the traditional finishing technique.

Very fashionable starting from early 1600s, due to its peculiarities and it’s softness, moire silk was used for dresses and as wallpaper for noble mansions, too. It grew popular as fabric for elegant evening gowns and for bridal dresses between XIX and XX centuries.

Suggestion of use
Colorful and unusual, it may light up whatever location or piece of furniture. It makes an ideal vintage wall decor or some really fancy pillowcases.

State of conservation:
Never been used, intact, some minor blurs due to its age. Available on roll.
